Now introducing bags made from pineapple leather!
That's right, these items are made using a textile called Piñatex. It's an eco-friendly alternative to leather that is sustainable and vegan. This textile is made from pineapple leaf waste, a byproduct from the pineapple harvest, that would normally be discarded or burned. By using plant waste, no additional environmental resources are needed for the raw materials. Diverting waste that would otherwise be burned also helps to reduce CO2 emissions. Piñatex is water resistant, PETA approved and comes in a variety of colours. It also looks great when paired with cork!
