Refund policy

Exchanges
I do not offer exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Returns
I will accept returns within 7 days of receiving your item. 

Please note that the following items are final sale and are not eligible for returns:
- Items on sale
- Custom orders

Conditions of the return
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in original condition. The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method (minus shipping charges) within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Please note that I am not responsible for any lost or stolen packages and I am unable to provide a refund if the item is not successfully returned to me. I recommend that you ship your return with tracking.  

To start a return, please email info@sewelizahandmade.ca. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Returns must be dispatched back to me within 7 days of receiving the email with the return instructions and shipping address. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please note that we do not offer refunds when damage is caused due to normal wear and tear, so please be mindful of the size of your bag. Overstuffing can put added stress on zippers or other areas.
